Check-in

Pull up at 3:30 PM and head to the SheWolf table near Bitters — look for the orange SheWolf flag. Same table where attendees pick up their event passports.

You'll walk away with:

  • Your booth number + a map of your spot

  • A cell number to text if anything goes sideways

What to bring

We're outdoors on a closed-off street. You're bringing your own world.

Non-negotiables:

  • Your table (6 ft recommended)

  • A tablecloth that reaches the ground (storage underneath = clean look on top)

  • At least one chair

  • Tent or canopy, 10x10 max — strongly recommended. June in NC is unpredictable.

  • Tent weights, 25 lbs per leg minimum. No weights, no tent.

  • Inventory + display

  • Payment system (Square, Stripe, Shopify POS — whatever you run)

  • Backup payment: printed Venmo or Cash App QR + a small cash float

  • Phone charger or battery pack

  • Business cards or a QR code that drives to your IG

  • Bags for purchases

  • Trash bag for your space

  • Reusable water bottle

Smart-vendor extras:

  • Mirror (if you sell anything wearable)

  • Battery-operated string lights — dusk hits around 8:30

  • A small sign with your @handle so non-buyers still become followers

  • Email signup clipboard or QR

  • Comfortable shoes

  • Sunscreen + a layer for after dark

What we provide

  • Your spot on State Street

  • Promotion across @triadladiesnight + SheWolf channels

  • Your listing on triadladiesnight.com (event guide lives on the site)

  • Live DJ + music on the street

  • Foot traffic — real, ready-to-spend foot traffic

  • A friendly face at the SheWolf table when you check in

What we don't

  • Tables, chairs, tents, weights, or display

  • Electricity at your booth — battery only

  • Wi-Fi — bring your hotspot

  • Storage before or after

  • Setup help — bring a friend

Booth rules

  • Footprint: 10x10 max. Stay inside your assigned chalk lines.

  • Tent weights: 25 lbs per leg minimum. We will check.

  • No stakes in pavement. Weights only.

  • No generators. Battery only.

  • No open flames. You can sell candles. You can't burn them.

  • Keep your aisle clear. No A-frames or signs jutting into walkways.

  • You own your trash. Bag it and take it with you, or drop at the dumpster behind Bitters at breakdown.

Sales + payment

  • NC sales tax: You're responsible for collecting and remitting it. If you don't have a Sales & Use Tax certificate, register free at ncdor.gov — takes about 10 minutes.

  • Bring whatever payment system you use — and have a backup. Cell service can dip when 500 women are streaming Reels next to you.

  • Print a Venmo or Cash App QR as your fallback.

  • Price visibly. Friday-night shoppers move fast. If they have to ask, you've already lost half of them.

Promote it (please, actually)

You showing up online is half of why this works. Share. Repost. Tag everyone. The algorithm is against us — but enough of us posting at once and we break it. That's how Friday, June 5 ends up flooded.

FAQ

Can I share a booth with another vendor? Yes. Both vendors register and pay separately, and we'll list you both on the site.

Do I need a sales tax permit? If you're selling taxable goods in NC, yes. Free at ncdor.gov, 10 minutes online.

What if it rains? Rain or shine. Tents up, weights down, keep moving. If there's a severe weather threat (lightning, tornado watch), we'll make a call by 1 PM day-of and email + text every vendor. No refunds for weather — your fee already paid permits and insurance, which don't refund either.

Can I sell food or drinks? Generally no — food trucks and Bitters cover food and beverage. Shelf-stable consumables (jam, sauces, tea, baked goods that don't need refrigeration) usually clear — confirm with us first at jordan@shewolf.co.

Can I bring a helper? Yes. We just ask one person is "running" the booth at a time so aisles stay clear.

Is the event 21+? All-ages. Alcohol is sold inside Bitters and licensed State Street partners only.

Can I leave early? Please don't. Empty booths kill the vibe of the whole street. If something genuinely comes up, text the vendor lead before you bail.

Will there be electricity at my booth? No. Battery only. Pack a power bank.

Will there be Wi-Fi? No public Wi-Fi. Use your hotspot.

What size is my space? 10x10. Same footprint as a standard pop-up tent.

Can I park near my booth? Only during setup (3:30 – 4:45 PM). During event hours, vehicles must be off the street. Breakdown vehicle access + parking map go out the week of.

Can I bring a tent without weights? No. Wind safety is non-negotiable. 25 lbs per leg minimum or no tent.

What's the refund policy? Vendor fees are non-refundable — they go straight to permits, insurance, and street closure costs that are already paid. If you can't make it, you can transfer your spot to another woman-owned business. Just let us know who.

Who do I contact day-of? You'll get the vendor lead's number at check-in. For pre-event questions: jordan@shewolf.co.

Day-of contact

  • Vendor lead: Jordan Lacenski

  • Email anytime: jordan@shewolf.co

Why this matters

You're not just selling stuff on a Friday night. You're showing up for a community quietly built on the idea that women in the Triad deserve more — more visibility, more connection, more reasons to leave the house and find their people.

Twenty percent of every vendor fee funds Women to Women, who put grants in the hands of local women and girls. The other eighty percent keeps Bitters and our State Street partners whole on permits, insurance, and the street closure that makes this night possible.

Bring your A-game. We'll bring the crowd.

See you on State Street.
